Finally lost my right leg, been expecting it for a while. All is well so far and I'm back home now.

The silicin sleave and socket for my stump will be cast soon and then I'll walk again. Just hoping that it's before the August Bankholiday weekend.

Looking back to this time last year and it was the same.

Well I'm back now and on pokey antibiotics so hopefully wont have to go back into hospital next week.

IM antibiotics over the weekend was a joy made better by the lovely Sam who was able to inject me on-site.

All in all I had a good time really, I have many ideas for what to do next, so will still be in the Harts.

My right foot was big and swollen when I went to the hospital, so that gained me the "Free Admission" card, will se how badly but hopefully all better (and back in a boot) by the GEF

Well it was been a while since LJ got an update.

I've had my foot straightened, and now have a softcast for another 6 weeks, then I'll be free of it all, and hopefully Ulcer Free, for next years events. Yay!

Things at work are progressing, although I am falling foul of the Lab politicing, sometimes you just want to bang people's heads together but then that's probably why they keep me locked up in th explosives testing lab.

New laptop of shinyness is mine, which is good.

Rather strangely I got a Blackened staff for Christmas, but as it has a steel point on one end I don't think it's larp safe (very nice though).

Shiny new TV ready for my XBox again (will probably have to buy a new game for it too).

Corr my life is so Rock N Roll!

I saw the surgeon today and she said they would be best to chop off the lumpy bit of my foot and straighten it out. Apparently there's only a 1 in 10 chance that it'll all go tits up and they'll have to chop the whole thing off, so looking good there.

Sadness

I am not alone with being sad at the moment. Mostly I get on with life with wit, style and a complete inability to accept that I have neither.

Feet

I've had a problem or two with my feet. Currently they are not very good (having prevented me from attending Outcast). Surgery may make it all better, it which case I move another step closer to my dream of being bionic.

Stories

I like stories but am not good at telling them. I suppose being a LARPer I live in stories, which suits me as real life sucks at the moment.

Blue

This is my favourite colour.

It's the colour eyes of my favourite person (it is also the colour of my eyes, possibly the strangest thinf about that is that these two people are not the same)

It is also the colour we chose for the Spears of Lugh, the LAEP group that a bunch of friends created so that they could go and have some fun in the Harts. Good friends, good memories and a good faction to have fun in. Although I think I am unique in being in a group of 1 and still not being the grup leader.

Fae

My most long lived (which has probably condemed him to a nasty end) LARP character is fae. He has a rich, detailed and somewhat contradictory back story.
